Effective from 1 July 2026, António Carvalho has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of O-Pitblast.
This appointment represents a natural step in the company’s evolution and reflects the commitment to ensure long-term stability, sustainable growth, and continuity in strategy.
António Carvalho has been closely involved in the development of O-Pitblast and has earned the trust of both the management team and shareholders. His leadership will further strengthen the business and relationships with customers and partners.
At the same time, Tomi Kouvonen will return to his responsibilities within FORCIT as Director of Business Development, Explosives, while remaining Chair of the O-Pitblast Board, continuing to provide strategic support to the company.
