Rise in raw material prices – new Explosives Price List 2/2021 enters into force on 13 September 2021
The price trend for raw materials used in explosives has been rising sharply. The price of the main raw material for ammonium nitrate, ammonia, has risen to a very high level. There are several reasons for the higher price, the most significant of which are the increase in energy costs and the demand for ammonia in relation to manufacturing capacity.
Prices for oil-based raw materials (including plastics) and transportation have also risen significantly.
Due to the increase in costs, we will publish an updated price list for explosives, which will take effect on September 13, 2021. The increases apply to products affected by rising ammonia costs as well as transport costs.
