ANEX A is an ANFO explosive composed of porous ammonium nitrate prills and fuel oil. It is characterized by a relatively low detonation velocity and a high gas volume. One of its key advantages is its ability to fill a drill hole evenly and completely, ensuring effective blasting performance. ANEX A is manufactured from specially designed prills that provide excellent loading characteristics, although they also make the product relatively sensitive to water present in the borehole.
HYDRANEX B is an ANFO explosive with greater resistance to water. This has been achieved by mixing in components that cause the explosive to quickly form a protective gel upon contact with water.
