RIOCAP is a detonator, strength no. 8, used together with RIOFUSE black powder fuse to initiate detonator‑sensitive explosives.
RIOCAP detonators may only be used in environments where there is no risk of gas or dust explosions.
RIOCAP is packed in plastic boxes of 100 pieces (inner packaging), which are in turn packed in quantities of 500 pieces. Ten inner packages are packed in a cardboard box (outer packaging), making a total of 5,000 detonators per box. The smallest sales unit is a plastic box of 100 pieces.
