Exel Neo

Exel™ MS detonators are a series of full-strength nonelectric detonators with millisecond (MS) delay intervals between successive firing times. The detonator assemblies consist of a non-electric detonator and a length of Exel™ signal tube. The detonators have an aluminium shell and an initiation output strength of a Reference Detonator #3. The Exel™ shock tube is a high strength and abrasion resistant tubing, which transmits the initiation signal to the detonator. One end of the shock tube is crimped into the detonator shell, and the other end is closed off by an ultrasonic seal.

Exel™ LP detonators are a series of full strength non-electric detonators with long period (LP) delay intervals between successive firing times. Exel™ LP detonator assemblies
consist of a non-electric detonator and a length of yellow Exel™ signal tube. The Exel™ signal tube is a high strength, high abrasion resistant tubing which transmits the initiation signal to the detonator. One end of the signal tube is crimped into the detonator shell, and the other end is closed off by an ultrasonic seal.
Exel™ B Connector SL is a quick-connection unit that can initiate 5 to 20 Exel™ tubes at the same time. The standard Exel™ B Connector SL consists of a SL 9 ms Connector block (pink) that contains a reduced strength surface delay detonator. A loop of detonating cord, dimensioned to initiate a bunch of Exel™ tubes, is connected to the SL Connector block.
Exel™ Connectadet™ SL is a non-electric surface connector initiation system developed to give the greatest possible flexibility when providing hole-by-hole initiation sequences in blasting applications with a constant in-hole delay. The system is based on a series of eight delays ranging from 0 ms to 176 ms. Exel™ Connectadet™ SL from Orica Sweden use the NPED (Non Primary Explosives Detonator) technology and are therefore free of lead azide. Exel™ Connectadet™ SL can be used in quarries, surface coal operations, open pit and underground mines and construction projects in a variety of blast designs and configurations ranging from simple in line sequence to multiple rows and decks.
Exel™ Starter SL is a non-electric detonator assembly consisting of a coiled length Exel™ tube and Exel™ Connectadet™ SL with a delay of 9 ms. Exel™ Starter are designed to provide simple connection to start a blast in quarry, open cut and underground applications.
Note: Orica Sweden uses the NPED (Non Primary Explosives Detonator) technology and are therefore free of lead azide, with Exel™ also free of any other lead compounds in the pyrotechnic delay compositions or within the detonator.
